Awesome toy for young kids who want to learn to follow instructions and build things. Think 'intro to Legos.' This gets them thinking about orientation of objects, envisioning how to put things together, and order of assembly. While all kids are different, this is probably a little hard for most 5 year olds to do alone, but certainly do-able at that age with parent assistance. Highly recommend this toy!

My son absolutely loves to build things and I saw these and I absolutely needed to get them for him. They reminded me of the very expensive Meccano toys that they sell in stores, but instead of being made of metal...these are made out of plastic and rubber like materials. This set comes with 148 pieces and you can make 5 different toys to play with. The box is small, so I expecting these to be very small models, but in reality they are much bigger than both he and I anticipated. It was easy to put them together and we had all the pieces that we needed to build each of the models if we did one at a time. This toy is really great for enhancing creativity and fine motor skills. My 8 year old was able to follow the simple directions and was able to complete the models with little to no help at all. Definitely a great investment.

This is my second purchase of a building kit from this manufacturer. What a great way to spend a rainy day with your child! Our daughter is 4 1/2, so she needs a lot of parental assistance. We ask her to help us build it. She loves gathering the parts for each section and is getting better and better at sussing out the instructions without assistance. The parts from this kits seem to mesh really well with the last kit we purchased (which I also love) so when she is done, she'll often want time on her own to "invent" a new car. She wants to build it again tomorrow. She had a good time putting her miniature dinosaurs on it for a ride before deciding to build them something else with the parts. We need more toys like this and I would gladly order again.

This is so cute, my grandson is going to love it. This is a well made toy that looks to be educational, I am big into buying toys that teach kids things, not just something to keep them busy. I am impressed with how this toy will develop the hand and eye coordination as well as to teach them how to put things together. This toy will be great for grandson as his dad is a machanic and he is always trying to do things like daddy and now he can. HE is having real fun with this toy.

I am so happy I came across this adorable building car! I was browsing for gifts to get for my nephew for Christmas when I saw the Creative Builder Jeep. My nephew is five years old and LOVES all things vehicular, as well as building, so I thought this would make a perfect gift.
