This toy is compact and could easily be kept in its original box or kept in a half gallon sized ziplock for travel. Flash cards have cute and colorful art perfect for toddler through pre-k children. Wooden blocks are light and smooth. We will be using this toy to practice our Spanish words too!

I love that everything came in the little wooden holder to organize, view, and store the pieces. Everything is made very well. My son has enjoyed spelling all the words. I like that he has to rotate each block and locate the letters needed to spell each word.

Fun and educational! Very easy to use, my daughter and I have been working on her spelling and she’s been having a great time using the blocks to spell out each word. Lightweight but sturdy.

Both of my kids are really enjoying this card game. It’s all made of wood and that makes it super study and durable. The cards have images on the front and back so it gives them a lot of word options.

I got this for my kids friends birthday present. It's a simple idea but I appreciate it educational role and the sturdy wooden box and blocks that accompany the kit. The only part that I dislike is the Chinese letters on the box. I wish they made a different box for exporting to the United States so the recipient doesn't have to wonder what these mean.

I’m constantly looking for affordable and durable classroom items to excite my students with their learning. So often things get ruined because they are r durable enough. This is not the case with this item. It is so nicely made and when I put it out for the students to work with it immediately became a hit. The cards are thick and easy to manipulate.

This activity comes with eight wooden cubes with six letters on each cube. There are two sided picture cards with three and four letter words on each card. This also comes with a case that holds everything and a card holder. The letter/picture card can be placed in the holder and it hides the letters so the child can sound out the word and place the correct letters in the boxes. For younger kids, the card can be laid out and they can match the letters to the cards by looking at the letters on the card.

I got this wood matching letter game for my niece and I think it is very educational. More than anything else, I like the idea that kids can memorize words while playing a game. It has 30 double sided picture/ wooden cars with 60 words and 8 letter cubes. I think you can also create your own picture cards as well! The quality of wood is really good, too! I’m so excited for this game for my niece!

I almost did not purchase this toy due to bad reviews. However, I did the trick to the toy is not to push the card all the way down, you kinda have to place it right on the edge. I can’t Way for my little boy to play with it.

Got this for my childcare. This is great for letter recognition and pre reading skills.

I have been trying to be proactive looking for items to purchase to entertain a toddler while quarantined. This set is great and fits the bill. The pieces are sturdy and my son likes searching for the letters to match the card. Great practice for identifying sight words. I’m pleased with this purchase and the price. It is definitely helping with educational entertainment!

This is just the perfect thing for my little great niece. I refuse to buy the kids plastic, or anything that lights up or makes noise. I do not include musical instruments as making noise.

My kids love this. It’s a very effective tool for children to learn spelling with little to no help from parents. My son wants to take it everywhere.

Came in a package with Japanese writing so I was skeptical but it is actually really well made, easy to do with a toddler and cute.

My 4 year old grandson enjoyed being able to spell the words on his own.

I love interacting with my grandkids & with this they can learn. I recommend this.

My son is 5 and just started to learn letters and reading at school. You can do your own cards and use it with blocks. Nice quality and bright pictures.

This is a great educational toy for helping kids with letter recognition as well as spelling words. The only complaint I have about it is that when you put the word card in the slot, you can't see the word. Then again, I'm using it to help teach my almost three year old how to recognize letters and use them to spell words.

I got this as a cheaper version of one I saw in a Facebook ad. My 4 yro kids really enjoy finding the letters on the blocks and cheering when they finish a word. If you put the cards in the slot, the word is covered, and I believe this is by design for when they are older. Not all the blocks are the same; there are some situations where the same letter is on two blocks and you have to use a specific block so you have another letter available, and that is probably by design as well.

My granddaughter loved it. Great teaching tool.

Great quality. I bought it as a present for 5 years old nephew. He loves puzzles and this one game he enjoys as well.

It’s great!! The wood is supposed to cover the word so a child can try to spell it without seeing the answer (this is in reference to another review!) it’s made correctly- it’s supposed to be similar to boggle jr ❤️

My son loves “activities” and we love to keep him off of screens. This activity is perfect for his stage of reading- he cannot quite recognize words by sight but he knows all of his letters well and is learning to put them together to spell words. He is very proud that he is able to spell words with this without having to have the patience it takes to write out letters. It’s great for in the car, too. The only negative I have on this product is that the word on the card is hidden in the slot if you place it in fully. In this photo I have just the edge in the slot. Nice feature if your kid already knows the word spellings- you can hide the word and spell it out with the cubes. My son usually just sets the card to the side and spells the word. The boxes for the blocks to go into is perfect for kids like him that need things to go in their place.

I love this for my kiddos who are 2 & 4. As a homeschooling mom I am always looking for fun ways to include learning. My 2 year old is identifying letters and items with this, while my 4 year old is mastering his sounds and putting them together to create the words and spelling. It is great quality and perfect size.

I’m always looking for toys that help my little one learns new stuff. He just turns 3 and I’m teaching him the alphabet, colors, shapes and other basic concepts so he is ready for kindergarten. This toy is really good for my purpose. It helps me to reinforce the alphabet. The toy comes with 8 wood blocks and different double side flash cards so kids can match the letters from the cubes with the flash cards. I did use it in different ways. First we look at each letter from the cube and pronounced it. Then I said a letter and he looked for it on the wood cubes. Then we started matching words with the flash cards and while he was doing it , we repeated the sound of each letter. And finally I showed him each flash card and he repeated the name of the thing in the flash card. I’m really impressed with all the thing we can do with this wood toy. It’s really easy to use and it looks well made.
