When I was a kid, I always wanted something like this for my bed. I'd have to make my own out of pillows and hope it didn't collapse on me while I was sleeping. Not to mention it got really stuffy because it's pillows and blankets. So when the kid said he really needed this, it was one of those things I jumped on because it was exactly what I would have wanted at his age.

My 3.5 year old loves this space tent! Who doesn’t love tents? As a kid, I remember loving having my own little space to be in to just relax, or read or listen to music. The quality of this product surprised me. It is sturdy and durable. I do wish it somehow had it’s own lights built in, but a dollar store clip on reading light works just fine. This tent would be a great gift for any kid about 3 years and up in my opinion. I also love that it encourages my son to have some alone time, to use his imagination and relax for a little bit. We love all things space it this house and I am so happy with the print on this tent. It is too cute. Finally, something that makes bedtime fun for us all and keeps my son in his own room! I would purchase this again as a gift without hesitation.

I got this tent as a Christmas gift for my 8 year old grandson. He's really into all things science and he's fascinated by space and the universe. On top of that, he's spooked in the dark after watching a scary video with his older cousins a couple months ago. He has a twin size bunk bed so this tent should fit it perfectly. I hope it distracts him from things that go bump in the night! The material it's made out of is lightweight but appears to be sturdy and it is well sewn and looks like it will last. It is easy to open and fold back up again and works just like a pop-up tent. It has two curved plastic pieces that attach it to a bed, but since it's for Christmas I haven't tried to attach it to anything yet. Although it says it comes with a personal reading light, I did not find one. I did buy him a small flashlight so he can keep it in the pocket of his tent. Together, these are a really clever idea, especially since he loves tents and camping. Now he can camp in his own bed while being entertained by fun space objects in the material of his tent. I'm hoping this will send his imagination soaring to fun places and things, not the scary ones that have been stuck in his head.

Such an awesome idea and REALLY easy to set up! I bought two for my little cousin for Christmas. I took one out so that I would know how it worked and I could help put it together. But it was so simple, my effort was more of less wasted. It will be really easy for mom and dad to install it. It was also very easy to uninstall. My cousin is going to be SO excited!

I am SO impressed with this tent! I bought it for my two year old thinking (hoping) it would help him fall asleep faster at night and it really does! Instead of rolling around and playing with his stuffed animals he now stares up at the starry sky and falls asleep 10x faster.

I got this for my son that is still cosleeping with us. I put it over his toddler bed and we are slowly trying to transition him to his own bed. He loves to lay and look at the “lights.” It is not actually prelit but it looks as though it is with the light shining through.

My daughter loves this Dream tent! She is 7 years old and has a full sized bed, so I wasn't sure it would fit or not. It does fit quite nicely but set pretty low. She did a great job of improvising by putting a blanket over the back to make it even more cozy and dark, which is fun for her. Ever since she started using her "magical" dream tent she has been eager for bedtime!

My daughters love this. I installed this on my daughters twin size bed, and she uses it as a retreat for when she is feeling overwhelmed. She is on the autism spectrum, so it is beneficial to her to have something like this for retreating.

The Dream Tent is great! I got it for my four-year-old for her birthday, as she has some difficulty staying in bed at night. She is obsessed with the movie Frozen, so I figured she would love to look up at the snowflakes. It is beautiful and fun! Now I think I need to get the other designs for my other kids so they don't all try to sleep on her bed! According to the packaging, they also make a light for it (additional purchase) which would be a fun addition.
Set up was just as quick and easy as they claim: it unfolds itself as you remove it from the bag, the U-clips slide under the mattress easily and the ends of the tent click in with no problem. The pieces that you slide under the bed are designed with tons of little pokey knobs (I'm not sure how else to describe them) in such a way that they will not slide around, regardless of the style of bed frame.
My four-year-old and nine-year-old share a twin over full bunk bed, so I tried it out on both mattresses just to make sure it still works on the bigger bed (she is still on the bottom bunk for now). It fit perfectly, even on the full-size mattress on the bottom bunk! The only real difference is that it does not stand as tall on the full, but it is still tall enough for a little to sleep under comfortably.
Bonus, it is ACTUALLY easy to fold back up to store. I was expecting the camping tent experience with trying to shove it back in the little round bag, but following the instructions you twist and fold twice and it fits right back into the bag without any trouble.

When my kids saw these on TV they just HAD to have them. Decided to order this for Christmas as gifts from Santa. Received this one as well as the stars one. We decided to give this one to our 6 year old daughter because she is all about princesses, unicorns and all things fairy tale. We received it just the other day and as a mom it's my job to check things out before I wrap them up, it's also an added bonus I get to check out new cool toys that I didn't have as a kid while my kids are at school lol. The fabric and design are STUNNING. It fit perfectly onto the top bunk where our 6 year old sleeps. It didn't move or slip off while I played around with it. It also come off pretty easily and folded up nicely back into it's package without any struggle - thankfully because it's a gift for Christmas! I cannot wait to see my girl's face on Christmas morning and can't wait to update with pictures once Christmas arrives!

My daughter has a full bed. I was a bit worried that this wouldn’t fit, but it does! It isn’t as tall as it would be on a full bed, and with her traditional box spring/mattress combo, it’s a small space. My daughter is small, so it works well for her. She still has a cozy little hideout.
Assembly took all of three minutes. I was able to put it together without any help from another adult. Once the u-shaped anchor pieces are in place, a child could easily set this up with minimal assistance.
I foresee many hours of enjoyment with this tent. I highly recommend it.

As described. I was worried it would be really, really cheap, but its actually better than I anticipated. Dont get me wrong, its a wire with fabric, but its basic and simple to install and holds up well.
Only negative, and this is not the manufacturers fault, my kid has a thick mattress, one of the deep pocket kind, so it doesnt hang perfectly over her bed like it would if it were a normal mattress.
My daughter has sensory issues, and this was the perfect thing to help calm and soothe her at night.

My 7 yo daughter was SO excited to receive this for Christmas and I think it might be her favorite gift received. Her biggest disappointment was that we couldn't set it up immediately to use while sleeping over at her grandparents' house (no, it won't work with a sleeping bag on the floor, a mattress is required, lol). As soon as we got home she asked if we could transform her bed into a magical reading cave. It was easy to set up, and she spent much of the next hour in there, looking at the pictures, reading, and stowing her treasures in the side pocket. It was hard getting her to come down to dinner. Her younger sister is very jealous. I highly recommend!
