nteresting to look at and play with... The kids (8 & 11 year old boys) love to run it up and down their arms and pass it to others' arms. When opened up, it looks pretty delicate but we haven't had any problems with bending the spring out of shape -- or no one has tried to anyway. I would buy it again -- it was a good purchase and provided a lot of "how does it do that" conversations.

Buy it!! Great conversation piece! I have seen people dancing with them at wedding and it being a big hit. I bought one as a gift for a preteen and she loved it. If you have never played with one, it might be a bit tricky to figure it out, but well worth it

I bought this as as an unusual gag gift for my younger (she's 50) sister. In May she dislocated her shoulder/arm and has been going through a long, painful rehab process. She called me and said that she loved this thing because it was helping her to keep her arm moving-I swear that it had never consciously entered my mind-and she couldn't be happier. True story. Seems like this is a great toy for child. I am a 50+ adult and love it! I really enjoy rolling it up and down my arm, and then opening and closing it. My adult friend also got one and loves it as much as I do. This is great for calming your nerves, or having something to fiddle with while waiting for water to boil, being on hold on the phone, that kind of thing! This is one of those things that is very much fun to have and I keep finding myself reaching for it!

Awesome toy, love watching it roll up and down my arm and it feels good too. Trying to figure out what else fun to do with it. Be careful to read the directions on how to flatten it or you may bend it and it won't work anymore.

Have you ever twiddled a Rubik's cube and tried to figure out the internal mechanism that would you twist it, but not have it fall apart in your hands?
This is one of those things that you don't expect to actually exist. Although it seems to me to have limited play value for solitary play, it's such a surprising object that every one of your friends will want to try it out, for about 5 minutes. I'm glad I bought it because, until I tried it myself, I wouldn't have believed it was possible.
