We gave this to my 5 year old for Christmas. The strobe ball was destroyed by our dog the same day. I called Neat-Oh! the manufacturer and they told me they would ship me a new one asap! Also, the pipes were causing the car to stick on a couple turns, but I went online and watched a quick video showing that you need to twist the pipes to connect. This solved the problem right away and now we are having such a great time with this toy! Highly recommend for ages 5+. My 10 year old is loving this toy too.

My 3 boys ages 6, 8, and 10 all LOVE playing with this toy! It keeps them busy for hours at a time. My 10 year old likes being the engineer, designing and building different track configurations and they all love racing the car through the pipes. The car is super fast which makes racing it very exciting,especially in the dark. They have no trouble controlling the car with the remote. You do have to point the remote at the car but they got the hang of it very quickly and have no problems keeping it going. I would definitely recommend this toy if you are looking for something that involves thinking, creativity and loads of fun (and keeps them busy for hours and away from screens). It is a little hard for my 6 year old to connect the pipes by himself but my 8 and 10 year old have no trouble with it. They have asked for more pipes so I might have to purchase the expansion pack and 2 more cars so they each have a car to control and can chase each other. You do need a AA battery for the remote control.

Christmas gift requested by a six-year-old boy. He absolutely loves it, as do his siblings. The children - boys AND girls, have played with this toy for hours upon hours. They have vivid imaginations which helps them enjoy this even more. I had difficulty locating it as some stores were out of this product, but AMAZON.com came through for me. What a great product AND company. When I purchased Zipes™ Speed Pipes for my grandsons they really loved it! But then we had a little trouble charging the car so I called Neat-Oh!. Maybe the coolest toy I have seen in years! One of the tenants in our building were experimenting with these in the corridors. So we ended up buying one for our building engineer’s 9 year old son! The pipes can be configured any way you want, then the little vehicle races through all the pipes at record speed! They light up, so fun in a dark room! This will hold the attention of kids and Dads alike for hours! Keeps the little cars from scratching up your floors or getting stuck under the couch. I saw Zipes on a TV news program and it looked really cool so I ordered it from Amazon. Wow – the car is even faster than it looked on TV. My kids love it! At first the vehicle got stuck where the pipes connect, but then I realized the pipes weren’t snapped together properly (I should have looked at the instructions first – but nobody does that). Now that we know, it is AMAZING! I will be buying the extra stuff and be gifting this to for my brother and sisters kids for Christmas. It will be better than a train around the tree!

The Zipes Speed Pipes are a great toy! We (kids & adults) love making different shapes to make the car drive through. The car is made really well, and can make it through any configuration forward AND backwards, as long as the connections are made properly (which is super easy, even for kids). The car is so fast, I can barely follow it, and it makes a neat sound as it changes directions with the pipes so quickly. We’ve shot the car out one end many times, and after many crashes to the ground, it still works great!

Since getting these from Amazon, the kids have played with them non-stop. The car is really fast and will climb straight up. It has a decent battery life, too. The kids enjoyed using the car to bat the light-up ball back and forth. It was easy to put together as long as you read the directions first, and the kids enjoyed changing the shape of the track. We are planning on getting the racing expansion for Christmas.

Got Zoom Tubes for my 6 year-old cousin for his birthday and it was a hit. He immediately wanted to open the box and build his track. Once he did, only about 10 minutes later was he able to turn off the light and watch his creation come alive. Highly recommend getting two or also getting the expansion pack for more fun!

We purchased Zoom Tubes after seeing the commercial on TV and the toy is one of the best toys we've purchased in awhile. We've built so many different, amazing tracks, and it's really fun to watch them race in the dark. We will be ordering more for friends and family because it's an incredible gift for the holidays! Bought Zoom Tubes for my kiddo and was instantly a big hit. Took us no more than 10 minutes to setup and begin playing. It's neat that the car lights up, so we ended up turning off the lights in our room and my daughter had a blast playing in the dark. After a bit my daughter started taking apart the tubes to build a new track. What's sophisticated about this toy is getting creative to built a track of your own. You're not limited to a single style track like other remote controlled track toys. I only wish we had the expansion pack so we can really get creative and build a longer and taller track.
