A bit tough to snap together, but was a bunch of fun

For my daughter's 20th wedding anniversary, and she loved this gift!
Schanappi H.
It was a gift for my husband, he loved it! Spent a whole day trying to build it! Superb quality of wooden parts.
Linine H.
We have not put it together yet. But we and many of our friends are excited to have it put together we have not ever seen a puzzle like this before.
Joey A.
It was for my grandson for his birthday he already put it together and was so pleased on how it turned out he has he special thing in it already Thank you so much very pleased

Challenging, but not impossible. Finished project is great. 13 year old loved it.
Joe K.
My son loves the safe. He and I have a great time building it together.
Arra S.
Great brain teaser for my Dad.
Kathlyn M.
This was awesome! My son who is 12, had a great time building it! He loved the whole process and it looks and works great!
James B.
The quality is great. The person I gave it to was really surprised (in a good way).
George K.
Great design and it really works.
Kim A.
Unreal quality and unparalleled fun assembling it
Olga K.
Bought this for my daughter of 10 yrs of age as she always wanted her own safe. This was fun for both of us, and I don't think she would have been able to do it alone. It was fun, and challenging and rewarding to have a working safe at the end. Great gift and family project.
Carlos C.
Great product takes some time and thinking.
Jiang X.
Anyway it nice...
Colin J.
I gave it to my son(27) and he completed it in 3 hours. I think he liked it.
Kane A.
My 7 y/o grandson and his dad worked on this thing together, great quality time for the both of them. The little guy was fascinated with every thing about it, how it looks, how it went together and how it worked.
Bernie K.
These toys are cleverly designed with well made parts. Be sure to have wax on hand to help put them together.
Garry L.
Difficult to build but the challenge provides many of hours of thought and entertainment.
Ken B.
The toy was a challenge to assemble (took about 6 hours) but everything fit great. Very good instruction manual, clear and concise.
Schimdt S.
Gave this as a present to my wife, who likes to collect small safes. It took her about 6 hours to build, and she enjoyed constructing it.
Tom A.
Not so sure its a kids puzzle, as I can see it breaking easy, but if you take your time and watch what you're doing, you'll be fine. A small ball peen hammer helped quite a bit to tap pieces together. As well as a small tea candle (wax for lubrication), I have since applied a layer of silicone spray to all the working parts and it's helped. Still a little tight to work the combination lock, but it all works good.
Sarah B.
Amazing toy for middle school aged boy. Challenging and fun for him to assemble. Came in sheets of wood to be broken apart into pieces, then assembled. Very cool!!
KC T.
It took me 5-6 hours to build it. The product finished is awesome. The instructions in some parts are bad translated but if you understand English you won't have any problem
Boogie B.
My 13-year-old grandson says he's "studying it" to decide how he's going to build it. I'm not sure what he means by that, but it's obvious he really likes it. His father tells me he's intrigued, in a good way. A good choice for a young teen, math geek kid.
Michael S.
Instructions are great. take your time. the lock works great. Looks wonderful too!. People who come to visit me just love this model and are fascinated with it. I would buy this again.
Jimmy S.
My son LOVED receiving this for his 15th Birthday! We thought this would be a great next step after his Lego days, and It was! He hasn’t stopped talking about how great it is. The directions are easy to read, and the pieces fit perfectly. There is a bit of sanding, but it really helps with construction of the safe. I would highly recommend this item!
Oscar D.
Bought for father in law it was an excellent purchase he and my hubby spent about four hours to complete and the end result functioned and looked just like ad image
Frank O.
Was kind of skeptical going into this, but despite my reservations truly enjoyed constructing it and the combination worked very well. I only made one major mistake that was "reasonably" easy to correct. Like it very much and recommend.
Matthew H.
I know it's just following instructions to build it, but every time I look at the safe, I am so proud that I built that. My only complaint is that, so far as I could tell, it's impossible top set the lock to a specific combo. Maybe that's just me. Either way, I loved putting this together and I love the look of it. I gave it to my husband and he loves it too.
Heather M.
This took a while to put together. The wood is cut very close, so it took a bit of muscle to put some of it together. However, now that it's done, it looks amazing.
Keith L.
I spent a Saturday working on this, and it was an absolute pleasure. I loved learning how these types of locks work, and I loved the aesthetics. Its a fun talking point when I have dinner parties.
Luffy C.
My daughter, who built hundreds of lego in the past, look forward to building the next toy. The only thing I consider unfortunate is that the company seems to be slow at designing new puzzles.
JK L.
By the end, we have a functional safe my daughter keeps all her money in. I would say it is more rewarding and more fun than lego.
Jenny S.
All parts, I mean all parts, fit nicely and tightly without sanding or shaving. I did not think about waxing, but did not really need it.
Juan H.
Very well thought out toy. The design is A++ as well as the precision of laser cutting. It took my 8 yo daughter a few hours each day in a week to put it together with me helping to push in some pieces.
Ben T.
Never had any problems fitting pieces together, unless you try to put them in the wrong way. Pieces are cut into planks, some of the smaller pieces can be a little hard to pop out, but with a little patience you should be fine. Had a blast building it, already ordered the train. Might buy all of them!
Dahn C.
Very fun to put together, took me about a week working only a couple of hours a day, so it could be put together in a day or two if you really wanted to.
Lisa R.
Instructions are pretty clear, not a lot of wording, mostly pictures (similar to plastic models).
July B.
I would think it was perfect for that. Easy to medium difficulty, you must pay close attention to some steps, but overall, went together very easily.
Vida A.
Fun and functional! Works great, very sturdy.
Nathaniel M.
Definitely going to try other stuff. I hope they're all as good as this one.
Mosley N.
The pieces come laser cut out of flat thin plywood. It seems at first like it'd be easy to break a lot of the pieces, but I didn't manage to break any. You actually have to press pretty hard to break some of the smaller pieces out of the template. Some of the pieces come with extras, though I felt intuitively they weren't the ones that were easy to break..
Nathan M.
The whole set is extremely well designed, with very tight tolerances and good machining. It comes with ikea-style directions, plus an outline of how to read the instructions in many languages, and it's very easy to follow.
Nark F.
A note for the ladies and the first-timers, you don't need sand paper. A nail filers is actually quite easy to handle and I think it would outperform sand paper. Nobody says you can't use scented candles or wax cubes for waxing. It is helpful to have a craft knife, but if you are careful, box cutters or even steak knives(you need to be extra careful) are just fine.
Ilyn A.
The more annoying part is forcing the disks on the the axis, which tends to chip the end of axis. I wish they were made of metal, not wood.
Please note that the instructions doesn't give you the option of choosing whatever code you like, you only a few options. But you should be able to figure it out by playing with it. (assemble it once so you know what's involved) It can be difficult to disassemble the thing and start over, but certainly not impossible, as long you don't do it more than ~3 times.
Andy P.
The pieces fit absolutely perfectly. I was misguided by some review saying some pieces don't fit well, so I forced two pieces in, and they turned out very loose and kept dropping out. You need to be patient and find the correct angle. Be very careful with the two axis, each is formed by 2 bobby pin shaped pieces. When you assemble the two pieces together, they tend to break, but most likely functional.
Randy S.
Love it! Took me about 4 hours to assemble it and it's my first puzzle. (Science major college student) It's reasonably challenging and you can see it's well-designed. It has a lot of decorative designs to make it look pretty.
